When to Apply

“Early Notification” Application Deadline:  November 1st, 2017

Applicants who complete the entire admissions process by November 1st, 2017 will be considered for admission and notified of their acceptance by November 15th, 2017.

“Spring Notification” Application Deadline:  February 1st, 2018

Applicants who complete the admissions process after November 1st and before February 1st will be considered in our second round of admission reviews and notified of their acceptance by mid-February, 2018.

After February 1st…

We encourage families to apply no later than February 1st as space is limited and we may not be able to accommodate those who apply later. Students whose applications are submitted after February 1st will be reviewed for admission on a rolling basis, only as space permits.  Applicants who apply to a class that has already filled will be placed in a wait pool.  The admissions process must be completed for a student to be considered for financial aid.  Click here for more information on applying for financial aid.

How to Apply

The admissions process consists of the following components:

  • The online application (link below)
  • Prospective Student Visit: a scheduled student “shadow” day on our campus. More information below.
  • School records: standardized test scores and final report cards from the previous two years.
  • Teacher recommendation: an online referral request will be sent to your daughter’s teacher when you submit your online application

The Prospective Student Visit

A required component of our application is an all-day student “shadow day.” We will contact you to schedule the shadow visit once we receive the online application. We schedule these visits on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, and the applicant will have the opportunity to attend classes, take a swim assessment alongside one of our regularly scheduled swimming sessions, visit with an administrator, and complete assessments in reading, writing, and math. This day provides an engaging way for the applicant to get a feel for our program, teachers, and campus. We also schedule time at either drop-off or pick-up for an informal conference with the parents.
