Ms. Blue has been sharing her love of Southern Appalachian mountains and rivers with young people for the last seven years as an instructor at the North Carolina Outward Bound School. She studied Biology at UNC Asheville and particularly loves teaching and learning about plants, birds, and ecology, and following curiosity into questions about the natural world.

She is also equally energized and engaged by helping students gain self-knowledge, become their own biggest supporters, and access their internal strength through the challenge of whitewater canoeing. Ms. Blue is beyond stoked to join the team at FBRA and be inspired by the rad, girls-space aligned students who make up the school!
