Kimberly is from Culpeper, Virginia, but has been living in western North Carolina for over a year now! She attended the University of South Carolina where she earned a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Spanish.

Having worked at summer camps throughout college, she decided upon graduating to pursue her love of teaching and has been working at Mountain Trail Outdoor School for the past year.

In her free time, Kimberly loves to do anything that gets her connected with nature or other people. You can find her out hiking, on the soccer field, or playing board games with friends. She also loves to curl up with a good book!

Kimberly is excited to share her love of science and the outdoors with students- she plans to encourage the natural curiosity of each student and give them the tools to discover the world around them.
