The most impactful thing for me was FBRA teaching me to push my comfort zone and being comfortable in getting uncomfortable, whether that was going down whitewater in a canoe or traveling to Costa Rica when I hardly spoke any Spanish.

Parent Perspective

The program seems to be designed to teach responsibility, to encourage the students to respect themselves and others, it pushes them outside of their comfort zone (which I'm a big fan of), and encourages independence by having them get themselves ready for their field days and trip, emailing their teachers directly with homework questions, and learning time management.
