Girls Program Event begins at 11:30 am
Boys Program Event begins at 12:00pm
Join us for a special day celebrating our students and their grandparent(s) or special friend(s). Enjoy lunch with yrou grandchild, visit the classroom, and learn more about ouir unique program. For the adventurous, there's even an opportunity to float an easy section of the French Broad River with Will Yeiser, Executive Director and Co-founder. Schedules below. We can't wait to hang out with you!
GIRLS PROGRAM SCHEDULE
- 11:30 - Arrive to campus and gather at the Noakes Center
- 11:40 - Classroom visits
- 11:50 - Pizza lunch with grandchild/special friend
- 12:20 - Program talk by Tricia Chan, Girls Program Director
- 12:40 - Tour of new academic building
- 1:30 - Optional float on French Broad River at North campus with Will Yeiser (North boat ramp to the Wave and back). Float is weather and water level dependent
- 3:00 - Optional to return to campus for the afternoon assembly
BOYS PROGRAM SCHEDULE
- 12:00 - Arrive to campus and gather in canoe bay
- 12:10 - Brief presentation by Felix Dowsley, Boys Program Director
- 12:25 - Classroom observation
- 12:40 - Pizza lunch with grandchild/special friend
- 1:15 - Free to leave after lunch
- 1:30 - Optional float on French Broad River at North campus with Will Yeiser(North boat ramp to the Wave site and back). Float is weather and water level dependent
- 3:00 - Optional to return to campus for the afternoon assembly
