More About Lexi: Lexi is excited to blend together her passions of science, education and the outdoors at FBRA as the 6th & 7th grade science teacher. Her goal has always been to make learning about science and the outdoors exciting and engaging.

During her time at App State, Lexi was heavily involved in the university’s Outdoor Programs. At Outdoor Programs, Lexi ran a variety of outdoor trips and managed the on campus climbing wall. This experience fueled her passion for educating others about the wonders of the natural world.

Lexi has worked a variety of jobs in outdoor education, ranging from ski instructing, wilderness therapy, STEM Coordinator at Science Adventure School, and an outdoor education teacher at a private school. Outside of her teaching duties, Lexi likes to spend her time playing volleyball, rock climbing, mountain biking and spending quality time with friends. Lexi is excited to embark on this scientific journey with her students at FBRA. Feel free to reach out to Lexi anytime with questions or to chat about science and outdoor adventures.
