More About Katy: With five years of nonprofit finance and operations management, six years of outdoor program administration, over ten years of special event planning and management, Katy brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to FBRA. A native South Carolinian, Katy has been in the Asheville area for over 25 years and certainly calls it home.  After the births of her two daughters, she found her way to the world of Finance and Operations. She most recently served for five years as the Operations Manager for RiverLink, a local nonprofit that promotes the environmental and economic vitality of the French Broad River. She spends her free time hiking, backpacking, skiing, and enjoying the river with friends and family. Katy is also the parent of a recent FBRA graduate and is grateful for the opportunity to work at a school that offers exceptional learning opportunities inside and outside of the classroom.
