Other Distinctions & Specialties: Liddell has 25 years of experience working with young people and was one of the founding teachers of FBRA Girls.

More about Liddell: Liddell has been living and working in Western North Carolina since 2000. Ms. Shannon worked for 5 years as a GEAR UP Resource Teacher and College Readiness Coach at Cherokee Middle School. Before joining FBRA to help found the Girls Program, Ms. Shannon spent a year on a 6,700 mile human-powered adventure. She paddled the length of the French Broad River system from WNC 1,800 miles to the Gulf of Mexico, rode her bicycle 2,300 miles from the river bank in Louisiana to the Pacific Ocean, and backpacked the 2,650 mile Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico to Canada.

Ms. Shannon is passionate about empowering students to expand their comfort zones and to work together with teammates through movement activities and songs.
