More About Stiles: From 2014 – 2023, Stiles worked with the North Carolina Outward Bound School in many roles, but most recently as a whitewater canoeing specialist and Program Director for the NC Mountains program. She also spent six winter seasons working in Bariloche, Argentina for Outward Bound. Stiles has also taught in the Recreation Management departments at Lees McRae College and Western Carolina University. When Stiles is not working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends biking, hiking, paddling, and exploring the mountains of western North Carolina. Stiles is thrilled to be a part of the FBRA community and share her passion for learning, history, international travel, and the outdoors with FBRA girls and families.
