More About Britt: Britt is excited to blend her passions for science, education, and outdoor adventure as an Earth & Environmental Science teacher at FBRA. Her goal is to spark curiosity, build confidence, and make learning about our planet both engaging and fun.

During her time studying hydrogeology at Western Carolina University, Britt developed a strong understanding of water systems and Earth processes. This academic foundation, paired with her enthusiasm for hands-on exploration, fuels her dynamic approach to teaching.

Britt has worked in a variety of roles connected to outdoor education, including teaching at Southwestern Community College, working as a whitewater kayak instructor, and guiding on international rivers throughout South America. Her time on the water continues to inspire her to teach about environmental stewardship and the importance of protecting wild places.
